A kitten needs rescuing if it is visibly thin, has a full-body injury, is very young (0-8 weeks) and appears orphaned, or has signs of illness like discharge from the eyes or nose. If they are plump and not in distress, observe from afar. Their mothers do not stay with them 24/7; they are out looking for food - do not kitten-nap their babies. A mother cat provides the best care, and the kittens have a higher chance of survival with her.

Contact us if you have kittens without mom and babies that need to be bottle-fed. We may or may not have fosters available to bottle feed.
